Lenora's Cafe in Keyport

They aren't the kind where you are eating some delicious home fries, then all of a sudden you find a chunk of onion in your mouth.

any diner on a major highway after midnight. it picks up all the flavors from the day and evening's cook. That's why they don't taste that great at 7am, they clean the flat top grills.

Bendix Diner, Hasbrouck Heights
Salem Oak Diner, Salem

i don't have an answer for you because homefries are wrong. i wish more diners got on board with shredded hash browns. so much better.

I had some great home fries at the Hillsborough Star Diner last Wednesday. In general, I often eat part of my home fries, if they’re good, and leave the rest, but these ones disappeared before I realized I’d eaten all of them, lol.

Burgerstrasse in Clifton has great fries. (And burgers). The onion rings, not so much.

I prefer opting for fries than home fries. Most of the time home fries goes to waste from my observation at local diners.
