Congratulations!!! That’s awesome. (Be careful out there during the holidays- people drive buzzed, drunk, and sleepy, so put those ‘defensive driving’ skills you learned to work!)

I've seen pictures of the cones at the dmv and they seem to be pretty spread out. If that's the case I think I'll be alright. Usually I just back up and start turning, I do it somewhat fast but its pretty accurate most times. I'm borrowing a small car to take it with so that helps too.

If you’re borrowing a car, practice everything w that car first. My parents had a manual so I borrowed an aunt’s automatic for my test but could almost not see out the back window (bc of the shape of the car and I’m short) and it almost fucked me up on the parallel parking.

I've been practicing on both types. When you get to the dmv, if you're not driving there do you need to switch seats with the licensed driver that is accompanying before you get in line to take the test?

I don’t remember, but You should be fine doing this as long as you have a permit you’re with a driver who has been licensed for X years (whatever the requirements of the permit are). Good luck!
