Practically lived here since I was five years old. It’s OK but it’s expensive and frankly boring nothing to truly do and the businesses don’t survive.

Hate to break it to you but it’s not that expensive relative to other areas and not as awful. AC is cheaper but more awful. Hammonton is better but more expensive

ANYWHERE in Ocean county or north will be more expensive. Salem and Cumberland count are cheap for reasons.

What do you do for employment?

I’ve been interested in living that way for a while now. Namely Absecon. Smithville, AC, and Batsto are all close enough. AC and Hammonton would have me covered for interesting foods. It’s also pretty woodsy in a lot of parts. Not sure if I’ll pull the trigger, but the area seems pretty ideal for me.
