I've been trying to get in touch with some (older) relatives in Central Jersey all day. They aren't picking up their cells or landline. I live across the country at the moment and am concerned. Is there a Verizon outage, or spotty service right now?

Central Jersey is a big area. I haven't had issues with Verizon recently but that doesn't mean other towns haven't been having issues. If it's been a while with no contact, you can call the non-emergency line of the local police and they should be able to do a wellness check.
