I wonder if there’s any link between this and the fact that recreational cannabis became available to purchase in NJ this past year. Probably not, but it’s fun to speculate!

I hear you but given the licensing bottleneck we're still on the "handful of stores charging whatever they want" phase and since prices are so high there's still a thriving illicit market.
