I bought my 2nd Subaru last December at Paul Miller. I was happy with the service and love my Subaru however the days of negotiations are over.

Bought (ordered) a new Subaru from Liberty Subaru in Emerson this September. They were fantastic.
If you aren’t aware, look into the Subaru VIP program. Not every dealer accepts it and some will only do it for ordered vehicles. Should save you a significant amount depending on vehicle.
Liberty honored a discount via NJ/NY Trail Conference. It was the simplest vehicle purchase experience I’ve ever done.

All American in old Bridge was great to deal with on my WRX in 2020. No Markup MSRP dealer last I checked

Richard Lucas Subaru in Woodbridge or Liberty Subaru in Emerson. We’ve purchased and leased from them several times over the years always a great experience. Stay away from Open Road on 22 - they changed management and have been a nightmare even for service ever since.

When I bought mine in 2017, I dealt with several dealerships and got the best price from Paul Miller in Parsippany. The way the market is now, I can't really tell you what your experience will be like.

Liberty Subaru in Emerson. Have bought twice from them and use their service center - no issues.

Yes. Wait few more months. A lot of dealers are underwater because they overpaid for used inventory so they still keep prices high in hopes of recouping some loses.
Once they make few credit and interest payments on new inventory as well they will sell at loss just to move forward.
If you really want a good deal and don't care much about the color look/ask for cars that have been sitting at the lot the longest. You can even ask, most sales people should understand you are looking for a good deal.
Also, don't be afraid to shop out of state in markets where Subaru is not as popular.

Wayne Subaru team were great when I dealt with them years ago. Completely different market these days unfortunately, markups are now the norm.
