Best of luck! I took mine there for a 2nd opinion on my brakes because the dealership said they (and the rotors) needed to be replaced. The mechanic at the highland park place said they were fine (they were) and he saved me a $800.

I used to use highland park automotive.... He does have very good reviews... I must of brought my old Honda there around 10 times for routine maintenance and they fixed it up nice and good. They recommended I replace the shocks and some parts of suspension and I did, which costed a pretty penny. The last time I was there I brought it in for just some routine maintenance and I was told he highly recommended new control arms because they were rusted through and unsafe. He quoted me something like $1500. So I brought it to my mechanic friend for a second opinion since I had no idea. He took one look and said they were rusty but completely fine and solid as a rock. I even took a look myself and they were indeed fine. From then on I got the feeling that they were slowly but surely taking me for a ride since I was a return customer who clearly trusted them and had limited car knowledge of my own.

Just my experience... Your mileage will vary... Pun intended

AAMCO Transmission and total care of Metuchen

There are 3 stores there. Auto repair, a tire shop, and a car rental spot. All 3 are separate owners. This is the total solution for all car repairs aside from auto body.

I went in with a high level Nissan Altima problem. They were able to fix it.
