Happend about 3:40 pm a group of three individuals on racing bikes blew past me on both sides tight and proceeded to Bob and weave inside of traffic braking and speeding up in order to control traffic or whatever their idea of fun today was. Had pretty much the whole parkway either going 40 trying not to hit them or pulling over entirely to avoid the conflict.

I have no problem with lane spliters or people who want to ride their bike a little extra fast Its their life but these three people were 100% either trying to get hit themselves or trying to cause someone else to crash for fun. I know I'm not the only one who dealt with it and I'm trying to get the footage off my dashcam to get plates but I was wondering if anyone experienced it today to? I'm pretty shaken up I got close to killing a couple of idiots twice and I saw more people get even closer.

Typical pkwy behavior. I had a young lady just start coming into my lane and wouldn't stop. I had to slam on the brakes to avoid an accident. This was NB at about 2. It's gotten so bad on the pkwy I'm debating using backroads for now on.

Normaly I'd say that but this was much different I think there's some kind of event today because even when I took the exit into lacey there were kids flying onto the parkway and off doing wheelies and standing on the bikes trying to run people off I get the normal bullshit but this was pretty coordinated and seems like a big thing.

I live close to rt. 18 and holy cow, I swear some of these people are trying to become meat crayons. Seriously in excess of 100 mph, ripping through the gears at top rpm, sometimes during rush hour. I wouldn't want to be the guy who has to scrape them off the pavement.

Wow meat crayons, I’m also going to have to use that term if you don’t mind!

I live off of 37 near seaside, and holy, shit. The amount of racing you hear almost every night at 9 pm. It’s insane honestly. Nvm how 37 is basically a suicide mission dare you drive it at peak hours.

I’m a stay at home mom so I rarely have to get on the parkway. I avoid 37 like the plague and use backroads just to get to the ShopRite for example.

The handful of times I do have to take the parkway it’s consistently been white knuckle driving. Just because of so many erratic drivers who feel entitled to be wherever they please.

I was rear ended a decade ago, guy hit me going 50 mph as I was stopped. And pregnant. So I’m already a super vigilant driver just from that experience. Because of NJs no fault laws the guy got away with it. I tried to sue his business into oblivion…

It's funny you say that I work for my local townships road department and AM the guy that scrapes them off the pavement in two separate incidents. One was a heart attack victem and the other was a teen who thought they were invincible. Normaly the local police do most of the work for us but it's still horrible.

Whoever they were whatever they were doing their final moments of their body's memory weren't their grieving family thinking fondly of them around their casket but our trucks spreading sand over the bloody pulp on the road and what's ever left of them being sucked away by a street sweeper. If anything I can say the silver lining is it humbles everyone involved and their stupid choice can help others to be more carefull in order to stick around for their loved ones.

GSP was my favorite road to drive on for years. But the last few years I’ve seen situations that are downright scary mostly by young men in pickup trucks that think they are invincible.

BMW crew does it as well. Loud unnecessary modified exhausts and weaving in and out of traffic just waiting for an accident to happen. Seen it on route 20 and 208

I do not brake for "stuntz".

I'd love to agree but in the back of my mind while my heart was racing all I could think of was their family's if I had struck and killed them. Every part of me wanted to speed up and sit behind them and honk and swerve but thats adding yet another hazard to the roadway and possibly taking another life.

I have never been so pissed at 3 idiots before but the best choice was to slow down try to get away from them and make sure I didn't hit anyone else.

We can all "be like those people" I'm not perfect just everyone else and I fail often but for situations like those when it counts if you can keep your cool that's the best trait you can have in life.

Best thing is to let it go. Chase the wrong person and it can go bad. Sucks they want to endanger people around them but theres nothing you can do.

I only think about being tied up with the police for hours/days, possible lawsuit, god forbid it's somehow my fault because a taillight is out, etc.

I have been in many situations like this. I need to get a new dash cam to record these idiots. I also usually call the NJSP when that is happening. I've seen them react pretty quickly (troopers will then speed past me to try to catch up to them or they'll post troopers south to try to catch them).

In the end, I hope karma bites them back somehow.

The stuntaz are the worst. Encountered them on 80 in Paterson once. Their shitty dirt bikes can only do like 40 so they try and box everybody in to force them to watch their crap. I floored it in the left lane and managed to get around them. Still almost ran one over.
