Do you have a local Facebook group? We have a “ladies of my town” and you get to kinda know some people and you can get their teens. There is also a group just for childcare.

If you are looking for college students, ask a person at a local university, to get you an education major.

Not sure why this would be downvoted this is the way. Find your town/county and make a post. You’ll have to be proactive. Do interviews and get references.

It’s the same way people find contractors and doctors. It’s more challenging to evaluate true

If you are familiar with a local (reputable) daycare you can ask their administrators for their unscheduled or off hours staff availability.

I find that great daycare admins have done due diligence when hiring and they are background checked, finger printed etc.

For a once in awhile, date night sort of thing or with a routine schedule? And for how many kids/ages? (For a once in awhile thing and somewhat older children, ask around the neighborhood and see if any older high school/college kids with younger siblings would do it. For babies and multiple kids, maybe check out care.com or Nextdoor)

Ask around your neighborhood, any teenage neighbors?
