A really close friend of mine used to live in East New York.. in the beginning I thought to myself how complex getting to him would be: Nj Transit, then metrocard, then finding the right subway, and so on and so forth.. but to my pleasant surprise, it really wasn’t that complicated.. just gotta cut through that bullshit intimidation factor.. all I had to do was get on the A or C all the way down to Euclid .. don’t get me wrong, the transit system here can be a pain but the nj transit app was a major help and a step in the right direction.
