There are plenty of quiet spots where you can sit for hours that aren’t separate rooms. Many with outlets for charging. There is also a Cafe.

Pardon me, but this is a public library or is it at the university?

Town library. Anyone can hang out there, but you have to be a resident to check out books.

Okay cool. What kind of food do they have in the cafe? Or is it mostly drinks?

It’s an outpost of Jammin’ Crepes. They also have some pastries and sandwiches

Rojo’s is small but has a few tables to work from. Maman recently opened next to Mediterra and has a buzzing French cafe ambiance. There’s also a new Illy cafe on Spring Street.

It's very pretty. That said, can be hard to snag a table sometimes! The pastries are delicious though, and the staff is so friendly.

The public library would be my choice. Easy to access, bright, and lively. Not too quiet, and not loud. Just the right amount of people around to not be distracted, or feel lonely. I enjoy going to Mamoun's but they do tend to get busy sometimes, so sitting there for a few hours might be frowned upon.

It’s been a few years but I remember WiFi at the university was also free for X number of days per month, and buildings like the student center are open and have tons of seating. Assuming you are of student-ish age.

Not to be Captain Obvious, but the Public Library is gorgeous and has a fireplace.
