I wish there was more info in the article on Ruth Marie Terry. Was she ever reported missing? Did she have family actively looking for her, and are any still alive? Time to Google.

Edit: here's an NBC article with a little more information. She was a mother and an aunt, chances are there is still surviving family around. I hope this brings them a bit of peace.

Yeah, I had to reread the article twice to confirm that they, in fact, gave no information as to how she may have come to be in Massachusetts or when she went missing from TN.

This was the case where Joe Hill speculated the victim may have been an extra in Jaws, right? I wonder if that could help explain why she was in Cape Cod in the first place.

Great to see genealogy being used in this way, though. Between catching killers and identifying bodies, there's so much promise here and it's exciting in its own weird way to see that being realized.
