MAGAs all over the FBI Facebook page are brigading the comments with Conspiracies about the whole January 6 arrests being a political witchhunt, and that the Ex-capital police officer is a fall guy for Ray Epps.

Very nutty comments over there on Facebook.

For a witch hunt it sure has uncovered a lot of witches ... usually that's not the case

When I see them say that, or Pelosi orchestrated the whole thing, I clap back, that's why I hope all those arrested get long jail sentences. If they worked with Pelsoi, screw her and the Dems. Then they get really confused and defensive back. Like why you mad Antifa in jail? You can't have it both ways. Lol.

jschubart t1_isy62du wrote

I do love that shit bag Steve Scalise asked why Nancy Pelosi did not ask for the National Guard during the insurrection. The mother fucker was literally standing next to her when she did.

But yeah, throw all the insurrectionists in jail. Those antifa bastards.

mces97 t1_isy6p3b wrote

Yeah, I've shared that video with people still saying why didn't Nancy... Why the fuck didn't Trump?????

jschubart t1_isygvkp wrote

Good job. Always put them on the defensive. If they think antifa was responsible, why didn't Trump do anything to stop the breach? If it wasn't an insurrection, why the fuck were there pipe bombs and why did groups like the Oath Keepers feel the need to have a stash of guns nearby? If Ashli Babbit is such a patriot and martyr, why did she not listen to very clear instructions from law enforcement?

Always be the interrogator to these shit heads. Get them to question their delusional reality.

It's honestly a waste of time and a bad habit of mine. Cause they never have an aha moment. They say Biden has dementia yet a football player, with cte, paid for abortions, child out of wedlock is neck and neck with Warnock.

Bitter_Director1231 t1_iszyn5s wrote

Nah. They will always believe their own bullshit no matter what you tell them. They need to play the victim and "own the libs".

All they want to do is blame those who don't align with their malaise, instrsd of realizing it's because of their own self inflicted problems and issues.

I just don't waste my time.

Got rid of it after Trump got elected. I never knew my friends were closet racist.

Huskies971 t1_isy11n0 wrote

I knew I had friends that leaned right but ever since Trump the full-on racism is out in the open, he normalized it. Now Kanye has basically mainstreamed antisemitism. After Kanye's rant I know see posts like "kanye saying what everyone wants to say".

mces97 t1_isy8cgz wrote

Yup. I'm Jewish and it really pisses me off seeing people defend Kanye over Twitter. Like, can't we draw a line at Antisemitism?

You think if Ilhan Omar said I'm going death Con 3 on Christians tonight, and got a measley 6 hour ban like Janye would, conservatives would be defending her "free speech" rights? We have fallen so far as a nation. Very sad.

Ok, autocorrect said Janye, and I'm keeping it that way. Ha!

PeliPal t1_it0dk2e wrote

>Like, can't we draw a line at Antisemitism?

We haven't 'drawn a line' for anything else. We've spent the last decade seeing Republican politicians call for trans people to be assaulted, imprisoned or executed, and get cheers instead of consequences. Among no shortage of other minority groups also being blamed for all of society's problems.

The same people cheering for this are the same ones defending Kanye. But plenty of rational people have been talking about the disgusting rhetoric.

Bro I don't even encounter visibly Jewish people in my day to day life. Like I think the last time I saw a person who was obviously Jewish, because of the curly hair things, was like 10 years ago. And I live in a major city.

You really can't develop a hatred for Jews without consuming mountains of hateful propaganda. There is no "what everyone wants to say" I legit do not give one fuck or another about someone's Jewish heritage. People need to learn to use their eyes more often.

I just got rid of my friends. I still use Facebook to talk to my sane friends and family that I otherwise wouldn't, and find out about local events in my area and other generic stuff.

But the second someone says something racist/sexist/trumpist/etc. I just unfriend them. I see way less garbage that way.

I still have mine, just rarely check it. What I found "interesting" is the following: super happy Trump won, fine you voted for your choice. Then becoming absolutely livid over getting blocked or banned because they posted TrUtH about the Dems in the form of calling for death or injury to political figures. Then they got "smart" with stupid ass little comments that won't get them in trouble but they expressed themselves. Whining like fucking toddlers over issues very few of us have researched.

Same. And some acquaintances I'd known for years as well as some extended family.

Glad I left when I did; I never have to know what those fools thought when covid appeared.

treletraj t1_iszohbl wrote

I did the same. I work with a bunch of 20 to 30 year old mostly minority tech workers and after Trump got elected I assumed they would all be very angry like me, but it turned out they were all very happy. They had all voted for him! Unbelievable.

Intrepid_Advice4411 t1_it2euo0 wrote

I rarely use it. I post pics of the grandchild for the family to see and then head straight to my group page. I do keep an eye on my mother's wall just to make sure she isn't becoming a nut job.

People who comment on public facebook pages tend to be overwhelmingly unhinged. They also seem to like to have public profiles to showcase their lunacy too.

AKMarine t1_it2w13f wrote

Probably so the extremists have a place to post hate and threats, and they can monitor them. Those MAGAs aren’t really known for their intelligence.
