He must have been coming from Europe through the Caucuses, which would have also taken him dangerously close to Eastern Ukraine. Guess this guy isn't a big fan of the news.

He had been in Iraq before he was in Iran, so it doesn't seem like that was the reason. He went out of his way to go there.

Why does it have to be entitled? There is a long history of people walking and hiking places people like you and me don’t have the balls to go, let’s not confuse our weakness and jealousy for their entitlement

I don't have balls so I can't speak to that, but I do have brains and I would like them to stay connected to the rest of my body so yea, no thanks. Not jealous that he's in jail in Iran and I don't think it's a sign of weakness that I have other people to consider when I go about my daily business and try to stay out of harm's way as much as possible.

Some people like hiking and the adventure of it. A boat trip would probably be more of an adventure for them than an airplane.
