This is the cancer that killed my grandma. I'm so happy to hear about the success of this potential treatment.

My dad was just diagnosed with glioblastoma. Honestly, with this cancer, the extension of just those 3 months is huge. It's such an aggressive tumor that most treatments don't really work all that great unless your one of the few lucky enough to have them work.

Wishing you and your dad the best. Mom is in the final stages of her third bout with her glioblastoma, and we don't really expect her to survive this round of chemo. It's been awful watching it slowly tear her apart, and I wouldn't wish the experience on my worst enemy.

My aunt died from it, was really awful.

Although the results don't show a universal benefit, anything that provides some extra time or hope for those with this cancer is welcome news.

Great. This is the same cancer that killed beau Biden and John McCain.
I saw it happen to my neighbor as well.
It sucks and anything that can extend life is for the better

My Mom as well. Found out on Halloween. Have been reading up on this vaccine therapy since then and really hoping there is some way to get in on a clinical trial. Hoping the best for your Dad and everyone else facing this.

I was on the cljnical side of a drug called Xofigo. For prostate cancer. It gave an extra 4 months of life on the average. 6 infusions over 6 months. About $120,000 for the full treatment.
People who had Medicare only would have to come up with 20% of the cost. Or $12,000. The majority of patients i injected told me that while they were living longer they were too tired to do anything.
That is why i would be curious to know about the cost and quality of life of this new drug.

There is a site called opin.ai that lists clinical trials and how to sign-up to them. Might be worth a try. Good luck.
