Good luck with that. Prosecutors HATE charging cops and will only do it when they absolutely have to.

California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Washington.

Anytime you are in an open public space (for example, most public roads, public parks, and public beaches) where other individuals can witness what is happening, you can record the police as long as you are not interfering with police activity.

It should also be said that you can and should film them if you are the police activity. Live stream if possible.
