If they can't figure out the logistics of shit, my hopes are not high for their main goals. I would love to believe that everyone is taking this seriously and we have our best people on it but this doesn't indicate that.

By "they" you mean the host country of the conference, Egypt in this case?
In case you don't: it's usually not the people going to a conference who do the logistics of that conference.
