Can I ask how you know? This particular article doesn’t say and when I searched nothing came up. In my state I don’t think it’s a political office that’s voted in.

Only Alaska, Connecticut, D.C., and New Jersey don’t elect DAs.

Of course this is the Assistant District Attorney so he wasn’t actually elected but appointed by the DA.
