I think be staged jail break to extend his jail time india so that he could avoid capital punishment in Thailand. He succeeded. But got arrogant and visited Nepal where he was still wanted for two murders.

He is being deported to France.

He's 78 years old, had heart surgery and still needs regular treatment for heart disease. I'd take you up on that bet.
