Rent. Happena to every midtown sandwich shop in Manhattan at some point

Downtown Disney rent is astronomical and Disney has been chipping away at ways to get transient non-park traffic for years. I can't imagine it's a winning situation anymore after the deterioration of Downtown Disney as a casual place to visit

That's what's happening now. The price and difficulty of obtaining materials and ingredients is up and rising. Shipping is up and rising. Rent is up and rising. Getting labor and labor costs are up and rising, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but is happening nonetheless. And restaurants are still on their back foot after 2+ years of business disruption due to COVID. The prices on the menu need to go up to account for this and take advantage of all of the customers, but you can only raise prices so much before demand drops. And that's how restaurants are getting squeezed out of business.

They are in the process of remodeling downtown Disney too.

Lol. I hate when people ask this of businesses. Please understand, businesses costs are rising just as much as your personal costs rise....if not more so. I own a business...yes, my prices are increasing a lot. I can have more customers now....but one-it does not mean they are getting the same amount. Two-the costs are rising far more than the increase in customers. That means costs are outweighing the profit. So while you see lines for these places......it is still not enough to keep a business running.

Lol bro if you ain't making it in Disneyland imagine how tough it is everywhere else. Some previous articles have been mentioning people taking loans out for Disney vacations. 👀

Just because they are in a busy location doesn’t guarantee good business. Rent must have been very high since it attracts so many people.

Something is wrong the company??? LA location is shuttered as well. Anyone here with business knowledge to help us understand? Big fan of their bread!
ChickenBootty t1_j3t5bq9 wrote
I guess they’ll just focus on the retail grocery and food service side of their business which is ok by me since that’s how I get their bread here in Washington.
