Nothing is unbeatable. Everything has some weakness...

Come now, good guy beats bad guy then lives happily ever after is just a storybook trope. We have to be realistic and think of our friend Nora here; the best we might be able to hope for are bargains or dispersions.

I didn't suggest an easy fix or even a completely happily ever after. But...who knows. I mean...the Forest Bride just bested the literal devil. So anything's possible.

This!! Fiona beat the devil, but she had to literally allow an eldritch to share her body with her—after being psychologically toyed with and frightened by the devil, watching him mutilate Jacek, and Casimir is still dying. The devil is still doing his thing; he’s just leaving Fiona and the Darkwoods alone, for now. Hopefully, Aleksei will keep the woods in order, and Fi will be ok! The witch can be beaten—at this moment—but likely not without damage, and a lot of sacrifice. OP, take her ass out, and watch your back.

Exactly! It wasn't easy...but Fi's resilient.

And so is Nora, from the sounds of it. But Fi wasn't alone, she had her family (both natural and supernatural!) Nora will need to find or make a family of her own to beat the witch.

A measured, rather than hopeful approach, is often the road better traveled in the end.
