Before 2022, there were talks about excavating for evidence of a supernatural entity like The Eye in Ukraine and the lower Volga region of Russia, which have been hypothesized as potential origins of the Huns.

The key idea is that another Eye (or the prophesized return of this One) may have triggered the Great Migrations and indirectly the Fall of the Roman Empire. Either the Huns fled West to escape the Eye, or their effort to close the Eye once again hardened the Huns into a hyper militaristic society that was forced to channel their excess combat personnel into expansion.
