The whole area was turned into condos years later. I kinda wonder if the portal was destroyed or if it's still hiding under there, waiting for someone to find it in a hundred years or a thousand...

Gosh dont tell me the portal is in someone's drainage pipe and we are just routinely passing our sewage in to their world. That will make for some really angry otherworlders.
