Honestly, your mom sounds resilient and like she loves you unconditionally, which makes me think she isn't evil or a monster. Would you ever consider restarting your relationship even if you stay human? Consider this too: she's an apex predator, not a serial killer. She has to feed to live. To her, those men are just walking cheeseburgers. You wouldn't cut off a human mom for eating a cheeseburger, would you?

The terminology you used, apex predator, that scares me. Because you’re absolutely right, she is an apex predator.

She wants you to realize she only”culls” the bad people. That is quite important. She hopes, as you mature, you might realize if she must exist this way, then she has a code to live by. Not wanton murder. She could also mean you might change your mind if you get sick. (I bet you won’t do it for that tho.)
