So.... Does anyone know from whence this woman appeared? Does anyone know her parents? Where she grew up? Or when? Or whether the family name may have been changed from something more exotic? Many an Eastern European name got shortened through Ellis Island, and Bathe.....

I think she may be of Eastern European descent-- perhaps Hungarian?

See that gibes with what she reminds me of. That can't possibly be, though - "Liz" Bathory has to have been VERY long dead.

The bees are actually the least concerning thing to me at this point. Much more concerned about the rich old woman.
