Kind of a side note question that I meant to ask earlier: Is the white rabbit that is your soul the same rabbit that the first wannabe cryptid hunter shot at that got him eaten by the Leshy?

I've been playing that over and over in my head. But unsure if humans can spot them. I mean we don't see our families souls hopping around when the kids are in bed first. But saying that then how can Tom be holding it hostage. Maybe he's not human.
