The guy who gets paid to take punches to the head is bright enough - he’s getting paid! It’s the people who get financial advice from the guy who gets paid to take punches to the head that we might want to wonder about…

This is an interesting case. Danis is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu guy. That's what his claim to fame is, (actually it's mainly training with McGregor) he's actually only had two MMA fights. He hasn't been hit in the head like some of these guys. This guy is just a doorknob. He's really legitimately stupid. Hell laugh at what he says so you kinda think he's joking or trolling, but no, the guy is just dumb.

Sure, but unless you exited at the bottom you should have recovered that many times over in the years since. Comparing that to the dogshit peddled on Reddit is just asinine.

All Coffeezilla does is this "i am so smart" shit to illustrate what everyone in crypto already knows. It's a zero-sum game and you're rolling the dice everyday. Everyone knows the risks.
Ninjewdi t1_j7sqkw9 wrote
That's a pretty broad statement and very clearly isn't true. Not "everyone" knows the risks. People gamble, invest, and spend money on things all the time without bothering to learn the risks. There are still people who thinking vaping nicotine is less addictive than smoking cigarettes, still people losing their life savings in Vegas.
And you might make the claim that they're idiots who are the exception, not the rule, but I'm not sure the stats agree. Either way, there are plenty of folks who would gladly take huge risks without truly understanding the stakes, and if even one of them has seen this dude's vids and rethought their next move, then he's done someone a serious service.
Another YouTuber, Ann Reardon, started with just cooking vids, then started debunking fake viral cooking hacks, then branched out into debunking or challenging other trends. She covered electric wood burning (I feel like there's a name for it but it escapes me right now) and how and why certain how-to videos were immensely dangerous. People died replicating them, and many other people chose not to because she shed light on that.

He's the only financial youtuber who doesn't start every video by droning "not financial advice, not a financial adviser"(arya realty, arya serious) and then proceeding to tell you how you should invest your money. The most he's ever done is show you what you shouldn't invest in, by way of demonstrating that it's a scam.

The great irony with btc is it's evangelists will scream from the mountain about it's decentralized nature. The reality is by virtue of it's limited supply and economic model, it's distribution results in an even worse reality than we have now with economic disparity. It's fucking hilarious. I mean, it's not really funny, because if BTC succeeds it's going to destroy the world economy (and it's already leaving scars). More of haha this is actually terribly representative of the greed in this world.

He actually had a friend initiate contact, the only hint that Coffeezilla was involved was a nonsense sentence in the copy that had Coffeezilla as initials.
The best part, though, is that when the liason sent over the contract to be signed, the small print specifically said that the while thing was a joke at the guy's expense and the linked website would change, but he didn't read the contract closely enough and the rest is history.
