Your mom is an idiot. Plenty of kids lie at an early age. And plenty of drunks lie too, just because they are bad at lying doesn't mean they tell the truth.

Plenty of kids also don't lie, but say what they think you want to hear. Especially if you give them leading questions or information. Look at the Satanic panic.
