That’s because “pit bull” is click bait. Other dogs attack far more often, it’s just not interesting to report on.

I am a dog owner and see lots of very friendly pitties at the dog park and in the neighborhood. But let's not be ignorant of actual statistics. The majority of fatal attacks in the US are by Staffies or their derivatives.
