Cops and priests have the same job: abuse as many people as possible under the pretense of moral superiority

Basically anyone in an unregulated position of trust and power in the community will undoubtedly abuse said power and trust

They don't have to, but cops and priests have enough unchecked power over their communities that the jobs only appeal to the absolute worst kind of human.
