Well duh, that would have to be solid Energon for that to work. And if that was the case we'd already be up to our ears in Decepticons.

I mean, when you account for Barricade it does seem plausible.

While I appreciate the dig at the police state I don't acknowledge anything as being Transformers unless Soundwave is a 1980s boom box that has a wise cracking Rumble as a casset tape.

and Laserbeak, of course.

El_Deez t1_j5zfpbp wrote

Well Lazerbeak and also Ravage are just icing on the cake I was just giving my bare minimum.

No, Rumble is the icing on the cake. Lazerbeak and Ravage are the awesome marbled chocolate cake under it. Also I'm willing to bet when you bring up Rumble people are thinking of the spiking looking Decepticon from the movie who did transform into a boom box, and are unaware its actually Frenzy, who's in the original G1 series as a retool of Rumble.

El_Deez t1_j5zkow1 wrote

Well I hate those people to my core. Rumble has arms that turn into pile drivers and says things like "If on Decepticon turf you happen to tumble, watch out robot cuz here comes Rumble!" And "No one calls Soundwave uncrazimatic."

Do you want Decepticons? Because that's how you get Decepticons

Worst case scenario you got Soundwave on your hands, so atleast you got like the coolest one.

Pfft! "Experts"

I did MY OWN research and found out that, no, rocks don't work as batteries

My favourite hoax of this variety was when some "monks" would knead quicksliver and through the power of ancient mediation and whatnot, and the liquid mercury would congeal into solid shapes. "Science currently cannot explain how this works at all". Well, either that, or the blue water they sprinkled all over the place probably helped, forming an amalgam from the copper in it

"Can electricity be generated from rocks?" That's roundabout how all electricity is currently generated, so... Yes!

We need experts to tell us that you can't hook lightbulbs up to rocks and get light from them.

Why did you make a one-word comment? How would someone generate meaningful conversation from that?

  1. Because in my little brain, the use of the word was so crazy that drawing attention to it would imply the insanity of needed them to tell us that.
