Uber’s are more often than not way more expensive than a cab. Airport trips can sometimes be an exception to this rule, however as a whole, cabs are certainly cheaper than Uber.

At least uber / Lyft would tell you upfront they’re price gouging you instead of a cab driver being shady and not starting the meter.

Hilarious the downvotes when it’s a perfectly reasonable and well priced alternative. Also, no “meter” issues.

Not really, even from airport Uber is often cheaper than taxi. Just did this last week.

I may have mistyped this. What I’m saying is the only time I occasionally find Uber cheaper than a cab is when coming home from the airport late at night.
