I get that they’re saying this stat is having BOTH home broadband AND mobile broadband, but it still feels like bullshit.

I would rather have 100 percent reliable, no drops or network stalling, won’t kill my battery 4G over “it’s supposedly fast, it only as fast as the server can dish it out” 5G.

5G is really about increasing the number of connections the network can handle rather than boosting speeds. In certain situations, you may get faster speeds, but that'll often be because the network doesn't have to throttle to keep up.

Makes perfect sense to put gigantic 30 foot tall cell towers right on the street rather than hiding on the tops of buildings because.... wait, there must be a reason? Oh yeah, they can show ads on the side.
