The same people would’ve bitched about how the city wasn’t doing anything if we never bought this stuff. Yeah they overpaid for it, but when you’re competing with the entire world for resources money or war is the only way to win.

When there is a crisis, opportunity for someone to profit.
For example, in housing with government oversight (DHCR, HPD), there is budget review, competitive bidding, except in the case of emergencies. Then those rules are waived.

Uh we still use all of these in care facilities feel free to donate them.
