I wish your friend the best of luck in his recovery. Is he insured? Has a PCP placed precertification for the rehab? Have you confirmed with insurance that it is in network? Do not rely on third party websites like zocdocs. Call the insurance directly with your friend on the line as musch of this process is HIPAA protected.

unfortunately he isn't insured. he doesn't have a job so he doesn't have insurance. just the ny health that everyone gets.
