In 2014 when he was 26. What 26 year old doesn’t have financial difficulties in nyc. I’m not on the santos train but IMO this is just click bait

An asset management associate at Citi whose mother was the first female executive at a major financial institution and who can draw on a family-owned real estate portfolio of 13 properties would be less likely than most to have this issue. That he ended up groveling at housing court is even more proof of how deep his lies were.

Folks who struggled financially at points in their life absolutely belong in Congress. We just don’t need this one in Congress.

I also thought it was widely reported he was evicted several times and lied about his employment history. Retreading stories like this just gives him ammunition to say the press is just out to get him

Yeah, everyone has hard times. The question is how do you go from not being able to pay rent for years and being evicted from multiple apartments to lending your own campaign $700,000 in just a few years. It’s shady as fuck and might indicate criminal activity with regard to campaign financing.

Lmao. Yes what 26 year old didn’t have (checks notes) multiple eviction proceedings against him at once, later running for congress and winning and railing against people who don’t work for a living.

Fyi I’ve been here a long ass time and I’ve never been evicted from anywhere but okay guy. It’s not merely the eviction history it’s the fucking hypocrisy. He’s a liar and a fraud with a trail of victims.

I don't have any issue with people getting public assistance when they need it. However, it seems to be a trend not just with Santos but with many Republicans who will use government programs then try to destroy those same programs. It makes sense to call out that hypocrisy.
