Unless you are an industrial kitchen, there is literally zero reason to get any rice cooker bigger than a cereal bowl, or with more than 1 buttons.

I upgraded from a 1-button to an entry level "good" rice cooker and the quality of the cooked rice is improved tenfold.

Zojirushi. And not the ones that look like a little pot. Those suck. You have to get one of the ones that seal when they close.
