An NYPD sergeant, accused of stuffing her panties in a male underling’s mouth in a Brooklyn stationhouse nearly five years ago is set to get a promotion — along with a raise — later this week, The Post has learned.

Sgt. Ann Marie Guerra — who is being sued in Brooklyn federal court over the Oct. 7, 2018 incident — will get bumped up to the role of sergeant supervisor detective squad on Friday, official paperwork shows

Personally, it elicited an interesting sense of amusement and awe at the layers of stupidity within it: car selfie, flipping off camera, dressed in work uniform, the work uniform is a police officer (designed to uphold common decency in society via law enforcement), deciding to take the picture, sharing it with others or being careless in a way that it is now publicly viewed on the internet.

It is forsure an interesting cultural artifact

Was it inappropriate and perhaps a little shortsighted? Sure. Is it something so reprehensible it deserves to follow her for the rest of her life? No.

Sure I was being somewhat facetious. Though if I was caught at my job doing something like this, I’d be fired. It’s interesting that there’s a difference, along with all the observations above etc.
