I take my dog there everyday. It’s my duty to watch where he goes and what he gets into. I’ll never be the type of person who values a pets life more than another person’s. People using drugs in the park need help not judgement. Also we live in the East Village which is historically a drug hub. It seems the neighborhood is reverting back to what it was in the past. I don’t enjoy the encounters I have in the streets with people using drugs, looking at their paraphernalia waste or the decrease in my quality of life in general. I may not live here much longer because the drug use is getting to me, but the tone of the folks in this article rubs me the wrong way.
