That’s the image I remember most about the movie.

(Well, that and the Statue of Liberty’s head, and Lizzy Caplan exploding in the medical tent.)

Why are you so threatened by buildings seeking support in times of turmoil? Sometimes one edifice needs to be able to turn to another for help when things get rough, it doesn’t make them weak. They don’t need guys like you calling them townhouses when they lean on each other.

This is badass. Great stuff -- love architecture / cities drawn in this style.

Huh I don't want to have to phrase it like this but I truly believe it is against the laws of nature that a building of that size and design could just lean on another like that. Ever heard of a curtain wall?

Ooooooh, I hear what you’re saying, loud and clear! If it doesn’t have a certain type of walls then it’s not a real building. If it can’t weather every storm and resist every rampaging monster then it’s not strong enough. Well, let me tell you you, some of the tallest buildings I’ve ever seen, with some of the finest blueprints ever written have been able to lean on other buildings when things got tough; and there was always someone like you who wanted to tear them down afterward!

Wasn't the monster bombed by 57th? That scene where Hud and others are in the helicopter and he says "yeah yeah that's the shit!"

You missed the part where the monster falls through the building Chandler Bing had worked in.

I loved that time leading up to the release of the film. The internet slowly uncovering clues as a team. Message boards. Cryptic videos. Monsters. Big reveals. And Voltron for some reason.

Thank you for this.

Have you ever contacted MOMA to display your art?

I know, that was so nasty. They rushed her in there after she was bitten in the subway (?) then the tracking shot of the others talking to military people (?) and quickly moving away and her exploding was a silhouette on the tent walls?! Fuuuuuuu…
