Judaism is exceptionally pro-women. The overwhelming majority of Orthodox Jewish women want to have a lot of kids, they want to be mothers, they don't want to have a career. They think it's their mission from God to have lots of children. What's the problem? Go to any orthodox Jewish woman in Brooklyn and ask her if she's happy and I guarantee you the answer will be a resounding "Yes".

This is not even the HALF of it because there isn't good reporting in Afghanistan. Go do your own research if you want to know more. The Taliban kill, torture, rape, and mutilate men, women, children, and the elderly. If this is just "an ultra conservative sect" then I'd hate to see what your definition of "moderate" is. I'm not even going to validate your comparison with a counterargument.
