I gotta be honest Alt 92.3 has been trash. There’s nothing alt about it. It’s basically 90s rock and emo non stop. RHCP AND MCR in full rotation. That’s fine and I enjoy it but please why can’t NY get a NEW ALT ROCK radio station. Put Blink182 and Blur on 101.1 oldies already.
I hope we finally get a proper new rock station like 104.5 in Philly or even 107.1 out of Westchester county.

The other 92.3 HD channels do have newer rock. Only figured this out like last month.

90s alt rock Is still good.

Because new alt rock is terrible and even less people would listen to that than they did the old alt rock.

I only listen to it on occasion in my car since I use a streaming service to basically listen to what I want when home.

It lost a bunch of audience after Stern left. Add the to the fact that rock isn’t popular, and new competitors like SiriusXM or Spotify

107.1 is good but you start to lose it pretty quickly once you’re in the city. Very odd for a suburban station
