Hello,
Tourists coming to NYC this January. Our lodging will be close to Central Park. Using Central Park as a starting point, what are some fun places we can walk to explore and enjoy?

Also worth going to the Whitney Museum if art museums are your dig, it’s literally right next to the High Line.
Natural History Museum and the MoMA are both also right next to Central Park, albeit on opposite sides—the short way, not the long way. Natural History Museum is an absolute must imo.

Upper West Side is lovely for a walk, some nice cafes and restaurants there too. Lovely architecture. Follow Broadway or Amsterdam Ave from Colombus Circle onwards. Try a cookie and a coffee from Levain Bakery on 74th St along the way!
