Yes bring them all in from all over the world. Its not just our land or future since we stole it anyway. Open the gates and embrace these poor people who only need a chance to be happy.

It's not like Adams invited them in here. The govs from other states are using these people as political fodder to rev up the trumpicans. Once the other states had them those govs should have sent them packing

They did invite them here by supporting illegal immigration. These people enter the country illegally. They should immediately be deported back to their country of origin.

They are not asylum seekers they are economic refugees.

Why should states on the border who don't want these people here in the first place, have to deal with them?

NYS what's to allow unlimited numbers of people into the country who enter illegally.

Well here they are

See it’s not that hard. The Florida and Texas state governments are incompetent.

Also worth noting this is the exact same tactic Putin uses to try to destabilize European government. Abbot and Desantis are in good company.

what do you think an asylum seeker is? many syrian immigrants were directly targeted by chemical weapons but right wing know-nothing nativists read from the exact same script every time (except the ukrainians, they can come in for some reason)

Why on earth do you get to decide who is and isnt a legal asylum case? These people were here legally, processed through border control and awaiting court dates. Thats how this is supposed to work. Youve been so thoroughly manipulated by the far right propaganda you dont even understand whats going on.

The vast majority of asylum claims are rejected, over 90%. Not to mention these people aren’t even following the law. You’re supposed to claim asylum in the first country you enter, these people are almost all from South America, meaning they passed through Mexico to get here and never claimed asylum there

These are bullshit claims by people who just want to mooch of the government

SEND

THEM

BACK

Yeah that totally doesnt sound like someone whos been radicalized by the far right. Definitely.

These people being trafficked by republican governors were processed at the border and given court dates. Just because you dont like it doesnt give you the right to send them anywhere.

I voted for Hillary and Biden. Both of them would have agreed with me on this ten years ago. The reality is the left has been radicalized on this issue, due to overcorrecting. Republicans are absolute idiots who want to end abortion, but that doesn’t mean they’re right that we need to stop illegal immigrants

>given court dates

Just send them back. 90% aren’t going to be admitted. How many even show up to their court dates! We don’t want them here, this is a democracy. Send them back.

Texas and the other states would gladly deport these people. They are not allowed to; though. Only the federal government does, and the federal government these days has very little interest in deportations. So they send them North as a protest.

I read a NYT article today about Venezuelan “asylum seekers” inconvenienced by Biden’s recent border turnabout.

I put it in quotes because in the first paragraph, it says they left Venezuela SEVEN YEARS ago, and were living in Costa Rica or Chile. (Chile is a rich country, btw — they have the 10th strongest passport in the world.) This particular family only came to the US because they heard the border was open under Biden.

There are a lot of people like that — who have flee their home countries and build lives in Brazil or Chile or even Mexico, but decide they want another upgrade to America. That’s a fine goal. But it’s not worthy of asylum.
