you might be able to take the passport to a post office to get contact info from the owner

US Passports have a space to update your address in pencil. I believe it's one of the last pages but will have to check mine when I'm home later.

My passport is my primary ID and I do not have my address in it, I assume most folks are the same.

I’m almost out of passport pages and never noticed the address field

Why is that? Look into IDNYC if you can't get a regular license. Easier to replace but not valid for travel.

Whats wrong with using your passport as an ID? I technically have a non-drivers ID but it's in my maiden name.

It just a pain to get it replaced, no? The regular ID can be issues by mail if stolen. The passport still requires a site visit - Mine leaves home only when necessary.
