I love watching it. And I’ve grown to love it even more the longer I live in nyc.

Weird guilty pleasure? It's a parade. It's a classic and tradition to watch for lots of families. Excellent journalism right here

My father and uncle would get us all down there every year when we were kids.

It'll always have a special place in my heart.

Have always watched it every year and actually went to it a few years ago. IMO, it's best to just watch it at home.

If you don't mind cold and dull, it's great. I was taken at the age of five. Never again.

Every year I think this will be the year I'll do this then I think how the hell am I going to survive umpteen hours without easy restroom access.

I’m watching the NBC feed but ffs would they please just show the damn floats and balloons and bands? I caught a glimpse of my friend’s band behind a lame celeb cameo and that’s it so far.

The last time I went it started snowing right as santas sleigh came past me. Was a great way to kick off the Christmas season.

When I was a young boy my father would never let us do commoner activities. The Thanksgiving Day parade was at the top of the list!

We Went every year as kids, i remember when the strong winds would blow (early 1980s) the whole crowd on that side of the street would go "wwwhhhhooooaaaa!" and when the wind brought it the other way, the crows on that side of the street went "aaaahhhhh!". It was SO fun!!!

Also, I am the youngest so I was always on my dad's shoulders to be able to see and I remember he put me down to walk back to the car and I didn't know it but both my legs were asleep and I collapsed very s-l-o-w-l-y. Stupid funny memberberries!

🦃 ✌️ ❤️

I did it without having to wait hours. I got there later than I planned and it was freezing. So many people were leaving fleeing from the cold that I made my way up front before Santa came.
