Lol i was actually there it was actually fireworks two of them on 3rd street close to ave D.

Oh, it sounded like they were coming from the west. Those babies were powerful, been living in NYC for more than 3 decades and have never heard anything like it. In any event, thanks for letting me know, really appreciate it.
