Isn't there already a skate park under one of the bridges on the manhattan side?
would be cool if skate parks just became a standard feature of bridge underpasses. they're certainly not being used for anything useful at the moment

Growing up in LI, the banks were the start/end point of all of our city skate trips. When it was shut down indefinitely, it really sucked bc this truly was/is a spot like no other. This will be a huge W for everyone
