From Newark? No, don’t drive, that’s crazy. You can be in the city in 20 minutes via PATH train from Newark Penn Station.

Driving would save no time (and might take longer), and between tunnel tolls and parking costs would cost many times more.

Thanks, any cool neighborhoods worth exploring and eating?

I assume I can park at Newark Penn?

Take the PATH to the West Village get off at Christopher or 9th. It’s the closest stop for you and one of the cooler areas to explore.

Thank you, really appreciated. I’m sure you’re sick of answering questions like this, I searched but couldn’t find anything for nights only

No worries, if someone is on this sub answering questions it’s probably because they like to. There are tons of cool bars and restaurants in the West Village and surrounding areas heading east into Greenwich Village/E Village, north to Chelsea and south towards Soho/TriBeCa. They all have different flavor and character but are pretty hip/trendy as far as Manhattan goes.
