Like does it depends on the amount of blood we donate or the group of blood that we donate? Depending on the need and scarcity?

It depends where you donate and what promotions they are running. One place also based it on how much plasma you donate so people who weighed less and couldn't donate as much were paid less. It is all up to the location.
